Climbers started visiting this crag a long time ago but then it fell out of favor and was forgotten. It was rediscovered in 1994 by two young climbers from Agordino. The climbing is technical and not very sustained. It is an ideal place for those that are new to the sport. The trail that leads to the base follows an old road which was abandoned at the end of World War I. In 2013 many of the routes were rebolted, replacing the old bolts.
The rock is Dolomite. This massive block was likely transported here by a landslide. The west face is very featured. The climbing is very varied and fun.
The summer is the best time to visit this crag, from April to October. It is located in the woods, so it does not get a whole lot of sun.
